The story of Bigia is about a magic, bulky suitcase. After listening to stories, fairy-tales and songs, it is transformed into a naughty character who is capable of dreaming, reasoning, talking and even travelling to new worlds. With this story, children can experience various adventures and the world of magic and of linguistic tricks. Through these games and lively interactions, pupils learn the appropriate vocabulary for different scenarios in Slovak. They need to use their logic, imagination and creativity, which will prove to be very useful for the following phase: discovering written signs.

During the course, children learn to decode the world around them, name things, actions and phenomena in Slovak and to find connections among them. Additional didactic material is provided for homework activities. Moreover, the program includes nursery songs and rhymes, short Slovak poetry for children, riddles, counting rhymes and Slovak fairy-tales. Each child needs a small suitcase to be personalized.
